What is Facial Trauma Surgery?

Facial trauma, also known as maxillofacial trauma, encompasses any injury to the face, jaw trauma, or surrounding structures. These injuries can result from various causes such as accidents, sports injuries, falls, or physical assaults.
Facial trauma can range from minor cuts and bruises to complex fractures of the facial bones, including the jaw, cheekbones, eye sockets, and nasal bones. Injuries to the face, by their very nature, impart a high degree of emotional, as well as physical trauma to patients.  In many cases, patients also experience trauma to the mouth, which can affect both aesthetics and function

There is a secure basement car park located beneath the VUE building for patient use.
  • Street Parking
Additional street parking is available along Centennial Drive.

  • By Train
Take the T8 Airport & South Line to Macarthur Station. From there, it's approximately a 30-minute walk to the centre. Alternatively, you can take a short bus or taxi ride from the station.
  • By Bus
Several bus routes service the area. The nearest bus stop is located along Centennial Drive, just a short walk from the VUE building. For detailed bus schedules and routes, please refer to the Campbelltown and Camden bus network map.
