Our Story

Where our journey beganand what still guides us today

Established in 2011 by Dr Jasvir Singh, Macarthur Surgical Centre was the first oral and maxillofacial specialist practice in the Macarthur region. Dr Singh envisioned a space where patients would feel genuinely supported while receiving the highest standard of surgical care. Every element of the clinic’s design was thoughtfully considered to reflect that vision, combining a calm, welcoming atmosphere with integrity.
As a referral-based specialist centre, Dr Singh and his team work closely with referring doctors to align on shared goals and deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Over the years, our practice has evolved into a dynamic ecosystem, continually enhanced by advancements in technology and an unwavering dedication to ongoing professional development.

Choosing a surgical specialist is a deeply personal and important decision. At Macarthur Surgical Centre, we are honoured by the trust our patients and colleagues place in us.

We understand that trust must be earned through clinical precision, ethical conduct, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

These values form the foundation of our practice and shape how we work, care, and lead in our field. Reflecting on our journey, this is what defines who we are now.

What Sets Us Apart

Why doctors refer and patients trust

Recognised Leaders in the Field

Our surgeons are highly respected across Australia and internationally, with leadership roles such as the current presidency of ANZAOMS and ongoing involvement in surgical education. They are trusted by their peers to lead with knowledge, integrity, and experience.

Depth of  Specialist Experience

With over 30 years of combined experience, our surgeons have guided thousands of patients through complex oral and maxillofacial procedures. We bring consistency, surgical precision, and long-term success to every case.

A Reputation Built on Results

We are proud to receive ongoing referrals from GPs, dentists, orthodontists, and other specialists who value the positive outcomes we achieve and the strong relationships we maintain with both patients and professionals

Honest, Evidence-Based Care

We believe in doing what is right, not what is easy. Our treatment recommendations are backed by science and shared with complete transparency so patients can make informed decisions without pressure or surprise costs.

Post-Operative Support That Goes Further

Our commitment to care does not stop when a procedure ends. We follow up personally with every surgical patient, offering reassurance and guidance during recovery for a smoother and safer experience.

Future-Focused, Proven Approach

We combine conservative treatment philosophies with leading-edge technology and clinically proven techniques. This balanced approach helps reduce complications and supports long-term, predictable outcomes.

Designed for Comfort at Every Step

Our facility features calming, patient-friendly spaces including a recovery suite, high-ceiling surgical rooms, and options for both oral and IV sedation provided by an anaesthetist. Every detail is designed to reduce anxiety and support your wellbeing.

Integrated, Multidisciplinary Care

We work closely with a network of healthcare professionals within a modern, shared facility. This collaboration allows for a seamless experience when patients need coordinated care across multiple specialties.
Dual-Trained Experts

What is an Oral Maxillofacial surgeon?

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are unique specialists who hold dual qualifications in both dentistry and medicine. Becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Australia requires a minimum of 15 years of training and be awarded the post-nominal FRACDS (OMS). This award is formally recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Medical Council, Australian Dental Association, and other governing bodies.

With this rare expertise, they have the highest level of skills and qualifications to manage complex conditions involving surgical intervention of the mouth, jaw, face, and neck.

An Oral Surgeon is a dentist who has completed additional training to perform surgical procedures inside the mouth. An Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS), however, undertakes over a decade of advanced education in both medicine and dentistry, followed by hospital-based surgical training.
This extensive pathway equips them with the expertise to treat not only conditions of the mouth, but also complex issues involving the jaws, face, head and neck.
Non-Surgical Expertise

What is an Oral Medicine specialist?

While Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons focus on surgical treatment for complex conditions of the mouth, jaws, and face, Oral Medicine Specialists manage conditions that do not require surgery.

They are experts in diagnosing and medically managing disorders such as chronic ulcers, oral lesions, burning mouth syndrome, oral infections, and precancerous or cancerous changes. Their approach is based on clinical evaluation, investigations, and medical therapies rather than surgical intervention.
